Lostwithiel Local Produce Market
The main rules of Lostwithiel Local Produce Market

1/ All goods on sale at the market must have been produced within
a 35 mile radius of Lostwithiel. By buying from the market you are
not only helping to cut down on pollution and global warming but
also helping the local economy.
2/ Only the producer themselves, or one of his family, or one of
his employees is allowed to sell at Lostwithiel Market - no goods
are sold by middlemen. This is so that the customers can ask
questions as to the method of production etc.
Produce is only available in season, or when in production,

The Market is a
social
occasion where, not only producers meet and share their ups and
downs, but also where the public are able to meet up with friends,
discuss the pros and cons of different stalls over a cup of tea and
leave with full shopping bags.
